Thanks for your help. It can really control the remote VI application. But, I think it is unfit for my project. I describe my project in details now and hope you to give me another solution. My project is used to mechanical condition monitoring in a vessel, the two client computer is placed to engine room to acquire, analyse and process signals, and then send the results to the host computer. The front panel of the applications (VI) in the two clients are very simple, but the diagrams of those are very important. only in the host computer is there a displayer, the host computer has a database to save all datas including the results, the original signals, and the initializations of the applications in the two clients. Also, the applications(VI) in the host computer should be published to web server in order to browsed or controlled by bridge or chief engineer. Therefore, it is unnecessary to display the front panel of two clients. My destination of restarting clients is the applictons in the two clients can get the newest initialization parameters when I update the initialization through change the database in the host without restarting the computer.

I want to constitute a measurement system networked, there are three computers, a host and two clients. Now, I hope the application(VI) in the host computer can control that in any client computer to run and stop.
