  1. Using an FP-2010 with DIO, analog I/O, and TC modules, LV 7.0 ..... Using the FP Advise.vi with the On Change flag False, the Timestamp returned at the end of each advise period still reflects the time of the last change in data, not the time of the call returns. This is rather useless since the value, say a switch position input, may have changed 0 or more times, with the timestamp presumably marking the last time of change. I would like to use FP Advise to log the last read value(s) and the time they were read, and it appears I have to make an extra call to get the actual time of the call. Can someone explain the logic behind this behavior ? ---- Realtime programming since computers had lots of switches and displays on the front ! Some of the later ones even had an 8 bit ALU ! David
