  1. We want to design a VI that triggers (after a small set delay) an audio .wav file after it detects the first 7 Volt TTL pulse in a train of such pulses. We would like triggering to occur only after detection of the first pulse, but we would like to include a reset button to start the mechanism over again. Each pulse is of duration 0.2ms seconds. After we detect the first pulse, we want to ignore the rest of the pulses. Could you give us some ideas on how to implement this? Any example codes would be really appreciated as we are new to LabVIEW. Can LabVIEW directly play a .wav file or should it inturn trigger a media player play the .wav file? Our NI card for the Laptop is a DAQCard-1200 (8 Inputs/2Outputs, 100kS/s,12-bit Multifuction I/O), which is connected to a CB-50LP termination board. The input is from stripped coax cable, with ground currently hooked up to pin 1 and the inner conductor hooked up to pin 2. Our version of LabVIEW is 7.0. Thank you very much!
