Our innovative technologies include RF, optical and acoustic sensors enabled with innovative embedded algorithms, machine learning and robust networking.
SARA Inc. is looking for an advanced LabVIEW Developer to join the APTA division, located in Cypress CA. You will join an elite engineering team developing APTA’s drone autonomy products including TASA and PANCAS. These systems combine an ecosystem of advanced firmware and software that span from embedded firmware on the Edge, cloud-based software, secure network client applications and automated test capabilities. This job will challenge your skills in all domains of development. You will contribute to projects in the late R&D/pre-production/low-rate production phases of the product development lifecycle, some of which address drone navigation and safety, sensor fusion and networked situational awareness. You will exercise your initiative, adaptability, drive, and of course, mastery of software development within a larger team led by industry experts within their fields.

Position Requirements:
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years’ experience designing and developing industrial strength LabVIEW applications
Experience developing with LabVIEW real-time and LabVIEW FPGA
Software engineering/architecting experience
Experience interfacing with NI hardware
Experience with multiple software development processes
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified LabVIEW Architect
ANSI C, C++
DSP algorithm experience
Strong math background
MATLAB
Verilog, VHDL and Vivado
Experience working in a development team
