Coleman Technologies, Inc. (www.colemantech.com) is looking for an exceptional, highly motivated, individual to fill an immediate opening for an Automation System Developer with LabVIEW™ experience. Coleman Technologies is a certified National Instruments Alliance Partner and leading custom LabVIEW™ application & system developer in the mid-Atlantic US (PA, NJ, DE, and MD).
The duties include:
-Design, develop, and install custom LabVIEW™ based applications & systems incorporating a wide variety of technologies (DAQ, machine vision, ATE, motion control, robotics, process control, etc.) for a wide variety of industries.
-Maintain systems and applications already in the field including modifications to existing LabVIEW applications.
The ideal candidate would possess the following skills & qualifications:
-Well developed analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
-Intermediate or advanced LabVIEW programming ability (a pre-employment LabVIEW programming test is required)
-Broad technical knowledge spanning a wide range of application areas
-Excellent writing, communication (English), management, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work both alone and with colleagues
-Discipline and organization with respect to software development and maintenance.
-BSEE, BSME or BS or an advanced degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science or another engineering/scientific field.
-CLAD, CLD, or CLA is not required but is beneficial.
