Graduated from U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD in 1977, with BSEE (Electrical Engineering)

I have been developing DAQ and signal analysis systems since 1979, as well as designing electronics systems, conducting major experiments (submarine and surface ships) and analyzing and reporting data.

Initial systems in were written in HP Basic, then I switched to LabVIEW 2.0 in Jan 1990.

Started with systems for my own work in underwater acoustics and towed array motion studies.

Later started developing systems for other people at NUWC and then moved to commercial development for other companies and agencies.

In 1999, co-founded PVI Systems, a National Instruments Certified Alliance Program Member. See www.pvisys.com for more info on PVI.
