According to the help on Backslash ('') Codes Display f is the equivalent to 0x0C. You can see this if you change the string display to Hex format. So you can also write ♀ by holding alt and then pressing 0, 1, 2 on the numeric keypad,then releasing alt. (for this forum text entry leave off the preceding zero)
