DAQmx pause trigger and events

Hi all,

I'm trying to use a DAQ card to perform an analogue voltage measurement which starts and stops according to the rise and fall of an external trigger (see attached if you're interested). I'm using the pause trigger, which works well, but now I need to generate an event every time the trigger falls. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this in LabVIEW. I've tried running another AI task in parallel in order to monitor the trigger line but the M series DAQ (PCIe-6251) I'm using doesn't support parallel analogue measurements. Does anyone know of a way I might get this event generated at each trigger fall?
