#text element parsing an xml file. show the tree structure in a tree indicator, select and copy some nodes

Recommended Posts

as you can see from the pictures, i'm trying to parse an xml file and put its tree structure in a tree indicator.

first question: how can i get rid of these #text elements and get instead the actual value of the nodes in the xml files, and show them possibly on the right column respect to the corresponding element in the tree indicator

second question, not related with the first. can i select some element in the tree indicator from front panel and copy them in a xml file? which functions should i use?

thank you
