lecroy Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I installed the new Labview and thought I had selected everything. Once installed, I tried to build an installation. It asked me to install DVD x because it is missing some files. Now, the strange thing is that it was looking for some RT something file. I have no real time anything in my design. Once built, the EXE was double the size of the older Labview. Impressive. Quote

I think that LV2009 associates MathScript with RT. http://forums.ni.com...1394605#M431259 If it makes your EXE that much bigger, and is going to require a separate license in future ( aka ) it sounds like MathScript is going to lose popularity... Nope, no MathScript. It must be something else causing it. My Labview designs are normally very basic. If you know of a way to determine which functions would be the offender, let me know. When it was running the build the first time, it did not say what function caused the problem. Quote
