DNP3 Protocol Communication

Hi,

I want to communicate with a device which is having DNP 3 Protocol communication facility.I am aware of MODBUS,PROFIBUS,and Serial,Ethernet,USB Communication but i never used DNP 3 Protocol,

Any ideas please...If anybody used this communication,
