Michael Aivaliotis
I have attached a VI that demonstrates this issue. The problem started when I switched from using the FP.Open property to the Open FP method. NI notes the following in the help file: National Instruments recommends you use the Open FP method instead of this property. Use the Open FP method to set the state of the window when you display it. So after converting all my properties over to this new method, I noticed that my subpanels where not working as expected. I also noticed that I could not abort the VI's that contained this new method. So if the subvi uses the Open FP method and it contains a subpanel then you will not be able to manipulate the subpaneled VI. Download File:post-16-1083739174.llb Quote Link to comment
PJM_labview
Michael, I run your example, and I experience exactly what you described (OS:Win2K). This is a nasty one. I tried a few things to see if there was an "easy" workaround and I could not find anything (other that replacing the Open FP method by the old FP.Open property). PJM Quote Link to comment
Michael Aivaliotis
This was submitted to NI and was confirmed as being a new bug. This means it did not get dicovered early enough to include a fix into 7.1. In other words, this bug exists in LV7.1. Quote Link to comment
