rlvl
TPMS: Tire Pressure Maintainance system. I am trying to replicate the tire measurement system in cars. I wanted to know what hardware is required for pulling this off. Known hardware requirements: Pressure Sensors: Don't know which will work will LV 2009. Some sort of pump, to pump in condensed air : Again don't know what to use.. All help is appreciated ! Tyre Pressure.vi Quote Link to comment

You'll need a pressure transducer, these normally output a 4-20 mA current (4 mA = 0 Bar, 20 mA = 12 Bar) and are fed using a 24 V power supply, you can interface these with a current measurement device, or a resistor with a voltage measuremernt device. For the pressure controlling you'll need a pump that can be controller by a 5V inpute or via a relays. Then you'll need some code to run a controller. And that is LabVIEW related.
