I'm facing a real problem to extract from an echocardiographic image a polygonal shape corresponding to some anatomical structure and then train a neural network application to identify and extract automatically the shape in a real time processing mode. Can anyone help me about polygonal ROI extraction. I'm not interested with the extraction of the rectangular around the identified polygon or the center of mass or wathever; I'm just interested to extract really the shape with its complex boundary.
