The ones NI supplies aren't very flexible. My dialog boxes are usually a text box with a button or two all on a vi with a very small front panel. Then you have more control over the text format. You can also code other features, such as setting up a timer input so the dialog box will go away after a number of seconds with no response, or beeping to alert the user a dialog box has appeared.
