Error bars are an essential part of analysis, if you are serious about methodical and rigorous procedures. All too often, data that a computer produces to six sig. figs. (or more ) is somehow viewed as sacred and we forget that the sensor has a linearity of .1% and the A/D has a resolution of 1 in 4096. Barrie Quote Link to comment
