Fritz_85
Hello everybody, since I yesterday I have to work with a HBM MX878 Analogue-Out device, which is able to generate analogue signals. I have been trying to program a Labview VI which is able to generate a analogue signal with the MX878, but I just have no idea how to realize it. Maybe somebody who has already worked with MX878 could send me a little Test VI, which is able to generate a analogue signals. I would really appreciate any kind of help or advice, since it is very urgent for me to solve that problem!!! Thank you in advance! Fritz_85 Quote Link to comment

They provide LabVIEW drivers. http://www.hbm.com/en/menu/support/software-firmware-downloads/data-acquisition-systems/quantumx/ Edited November 26, 2011 by Saverio Quote Link to comment
Fritz_85
Hi Saverio, Thank you for your reply. I know that HBM provides LabVIEW Drivers. I have already programmed a VI for the DAQ of the MX 840. However, I want to generate a analogue signal with the MX 878 and I don't know which VIs to use, from the HBM LabVIEW Drivers, to programm a VI which makes the MX878 generate an analogue signal. Maybe it also possible to realize it with the regular Labview VIs. I just need some advice how to start!? I thought maybe with the TCP/IP VIs from LabVIEW, since I am communicating with the MX878 by Ethernet. Do you have experience with the MX878? Quote Link to comment

Saverio
Doesn't the company provide any examples with their software kit? We can't see for sure since you need to register, and I refuse to play the games of marketers. Quote Link to comment
