nightdweller
GUI gurus, I desperately need your help.. Okay I'm exaggerating, but I do need your help. You know that digital display for the charts. I want to vertical align that with the legend. Apparently when it changes it loses it's vertical alignment. Is there a way I can fix this? Or would I have customize a digital display, ie a picture. Quote Link to comment
aledain
I want to vertical align that with the legend. 2366[/snapback] Doesn't turning off Y scale autoscaling work? You could then programatically set the top and bottom shown plot. N.B. I haven't tried it but IMHO it should work this way. cherrs, Alex Quote Link to comment

Anyhow, apparently I can get it to align if I resize the font. The problem is that it gets too small to read. Quote Link to comment
todd
Perhaps you could use "Position" and "Legend -> Position" waveform graph properties. I use these to calculate a new position for the legend when programmatically adding plots to a graph. Quote Link to comment

I guess I will give that a try. Thanx. Quote Link to comment
nightdweller
Well fellas... I tried your suggestions, but it didn't work as plan . Also, Resizing the legend would just add or remove elements because each legend element has a predefined height size, for example 21. The size of four elements would be 84. If we can pre define the individual height of the legend element, then we could adjust it. Any suggestions?? Maybe there's something I can set in LV?? Thanx. Quote Link to comment

Seems to work for me. Quote Link to comment

Guru's like you always seem to have a solution :worship: I'm not worthy I was just wondering how you manage to get the font size to change with the object(legend item) to rescale it's size?? It doesn't work for me ctrl +++?? maybe a dumb question thanx Quote Link to comment
