Rammer
I discovered that the Execution System must be the same between the parent and all children for overridden VI's. Does anyone know what happens if the descendant VI is called dynamically? Can you set the execution and thread priority through VI server? John Quote Link to comment
asbo
Can you set the execution and thread priority through VI server? I can only address this portion of your question: yes, this can be changed dynamically. However, it may break the run arrow if you try and use this to circumvent the parent/child requirement. crelf
I discovered that the Execution System must be the same between the parent and all children for overridden VI's. The short answer is I don't know, but I'm super interested in the use case(s) of why you'd want to do this? Are you wanting to bump up the execution of a child, or down? Quote Link to comment
