DAQmx CI Freq continuous measurement: avoid first arbitrary value

Hello,

I am using the "CI Freq" DAQmx to measure the frequency of a digital signal with a Low Frequency with 1 Counter.

I do the measurement continuously and it works as expected.

However for the first iteration this DAQmx vi seems to calculate the frequency based on the time between the task start and the first detected edge: arbitrary value.

Is there a way to tell the task to start on an edge detection so that the first measured value is correct?

What I do for instance is to simply ignore the first iteration.

The task was inited with a "DAQmx Timing" vi set to (Implicit).

Just by removing this "DAQmx Timing" solved the problem.
