didierj
I must have overseen some setting :headbang: Since LV 7.1 when I want to write "#" character, in the block diagram LV asks me if I want to show the grid and on the front panel nothing happens. How do I switch this new shortcut off to use "#" as character? Didier Quote Link to comment
David Boyd
Didier, Are you sure you're not leaning on the <ctrl> key at the same time? If I hold down shift and type a '#', I get a '#' character (if typing in a free-text box on the BD). The shortcut <ctrl><shift># generates the prompt you're seeing. Is your <ctrl> key physically or logically stuck? Dave Quote Link to comment
didierj
Are you sure you're not leaning on the <ctrl> key at the same time? 2957 Yes I am sure it's not pressed nor stuck (<ctrl>+<e> works like it should). If I hold down shift and type a '#'2957 On my keyboard (swiss german layout) The '#' is written by pressing <AltGr>+<3>. I don't know if this makes the difference?? But, You're right... if I switch to standard-layout (english), then it works. Maybe I should report it as a bug! Quote Link to comment
