Jimmy-Chen
Hi all, I apologize my English is poor. I put a boolean button on the front panel. And I would like to create new vi via templates vi(*.vit) when I pressing the button each time. Anybody knows How to do this? Thanks in advance and happy new year. Quote Link to comment
Mike Ashe
Hi Jimmy-Chen, You should download and install the OpenG Toolkit. It has VIs to do what you want. The Toolkit is at: OpenG Toolkit Get the all_packages 2.3.1 and install. In the meantime, here is one VI from the toolkit that clones a VI, makes a template, opens it returning a reference to the newly cloned template after deleting the disk clone (but leaving the clone in memory). If you put this VI in a case, in a loop connected to your boolean button you will have the start of what you asked for above. Happy New Year Download File:post-45-1104502205.vi Quote Link to comment
