Question about Call Parent Node

"So... if you don't invoke the Call Parent Node at least once a week, do they start worrying and invoke the Call Child Node?" :-)

Is that a recursive process?

There are rumours of a private method to allow a child to remove the "must always call parent" from itself requirement but it's problematic.

I am pretty sure executing that private method also triggers a parent side SQL query
