maximum and minimum global and local of mathematical function with labview

Hi,

i'm Paola Tavernise, i'd like to create a VI that plot mathematical functions and its derivatives graphs. After this i'd like to find the position of maxima and minima local and global. How can i do?

Hi Paola,

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but here is an example I wrote that maybe you could use as a starter. It lets you put in a function and graphs the 1st and 2nd derivative and tells you global max. Look at it and hopefully you will be able to see how you can implement the functionality you need.
