Hi all Labview expert! :worship:

I am just come out from school, I just know mainly on software fields, so i don't know what do we need for a basic laview testing system.

My company ask for build the system that can run labview automate testing (we write scripts). their products mainly take analog DC power I/O's, and use multimeter, scope to calibrateg and measured, some of them need to enter data throught computer via COM. They are willing to buy a system up to $100,000

I went to NI website to customize the system, but I don't know why i always get error after I choose some plugin cards

Can you guy give me some advice or your ideal system (the basic plugin cards list)?

thx for help!

go to the NI website and take a look at the list of Ni certified alliance partners (ni.com/alliance). I am sure, one of them is close to you and willing to help :-)

Well, I'm sure the $100K got a few people's attention

Realistically, there is no such thing as the ideal basic system. It depends on what you are testing, what products your company makes, what parameters they want tested, how accurately, how fast and with what level of reporting. The advice to get ahold of NI and/or Alliance members is a good one. Before you do, do yourself a favor and sit down and list out the things I just mentioned. It will make things go smoother (and cheaper).

Good luck

and I'd like to attach:

if you buy an expensive DAQ-System from NI, you should NOT forget the signal conditioning. Inpropper signal conditioning can cause serious problems and you don't know what's going wrong. My advise is: get someone with the appropriate knowledgle about signal conditioning. Just selecting some SCC modules on the NI website will not be a good way ...

that's great idea Michael. company product need is very accurately I/O's (more than class 2 of IPC req.)and about level 2 report. They are production for intel, stir, luminex.... instead of do it by myself, I think will get the alliance partners so we can reduce the lobor cost of maintenance.

thanks for all of you!

I will ask more question in the fulture! :)
