In that i have many test cases.. so we have front panel for that. we load all the test cases & run vi.... it gives us the result of conpilation, analyses & all as pass-fail corresponding to the test case. now i need to put all this data in excel sheet to generate report.. how can this be done... even i habe to generate the report in HTML can any1 plz send me reply asap. i have recently started using labview so plz be a bit elaborative. You should find a topic on the Report Generation VIs, which help you generate Standard (for your printer) and HTML reports. You can purchase the Report Generation Toolkit if you want to expand the ability of these VIs to generate Excel and Word reports as well. -D Quote Link to comment

Well, ActiveX is the way to go.... But it is a long and winding road, buying the toolkit is worth it's money. It give easy access to Excel and Word AND shows you how to do more interesting things....
