The need for lock in get-modify-set pass

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't do this if I really didn't need to do this but I just need to do it. It may be that the present way of abstracting real world objects in LabVIEW is sufficient in your projects, but it defenitely runs into constant problems in my projects where I need to refer huge amount of real world objects shared by different parts of the application. And since I cannot avoid this, I just need to deal with it.

I would have to see for myself to believe that it cannot be avoided or designed differently. Would it be possible for me to analyse this project?
