LV List Box Cell Justification Bug

Recommended Posts

QUOTE(alukindo @ Jun 9 2007, 02:20 AM)

Hi:

See the block diagram code snippet below. The front panel result is pasted on the lower right.

. . . . . Doesn't this demonstrate a bug for the attribute: <cell justification> when used with the <active row property>? :(

Other formatting attributes seem to work OK.

Anthony

I assume this is in 7.1.1, could you post the VI so we can test if this is fixed?

tcplomp:

The code pasted is from LabVIEW 8.2.1

Thanks,

since your post didn't include a version reference I was looking at the version mentioned in your profile (please update).

Since it's a bug in the current version please inform NI, via your local representative or via the web.

From one point of view, this is more of a documentation issue than a bug. The justification seems to work for the entire column. If you place a delay in the loop, you can see it cycle through the various justifications and whatever is last is the one you end up with. Then again, a bug is usually defined as any undesired behavior. If it says "Row" I'd like to see it work for each Row, not just change the doc's to reflect actual behavior.

The Multi Column List Box works correctly, allowing you to set justification on a per cell basis.
