3D picture control

I developed roll and depth movement of underwater vehicle in X-Y graph with 2dimensional rotational matrix using labview 7.1. we have to devolep this program for the 3 dimensional movement of the vehicle in labview 8.2. please send some useful examples and links. can we use 3D rotatinal matrix for this program, if it so,please give suggession or some details about devoleping program.
