ThomasF Posted September 8, 2007 Report Share Posted September 8, 2007 UDP Write hangs forever when trying to write too fast. This appends with both unicast and multicast sockets. This seems to append when the ethernet buffer is full. In this situation, LabVIEW 8.2 would have output an error. When the VI hangs, there is no solution other than killing LabVIEW, aborting the VI does not work. I did reproduce this bug on 3 different PC, running Win XP or Linux, however all of them have Intel-based motherboards. I don't have any workaround at the moment. Here is a snipet to illustrate.
