aoshi
Hi guys, I'm new in using labview. I got accepted in a university but they are expecting me to know labview and make a simulation model of their Fluidized bed Gasifier. They gave me the diagram and some experimental results and they want me to make a model of it so that if they change the parameters, what would be the result. I already know the concepts regarding gasification but the problem is how to do it in Labview. I already studied the basics of the labview (pdf file donwloaded from the net) but I still have problems starting with it. How do you create controls?, like blowers, mixer, etc. I already have an idea about the flow of the program but can't start it because I don't know what to do with the controls? I really need sone help. Thanks Quote Link to comment

This is a site developed by Rice University where you will find lots of LabVIEW resources, including a Basics 1 self paced course. The course is written for LabVIEW version 7, but will teach you all the basics you need to get started. Now that I have pointed you to all the great free material, I need to also recommend the courses that National Instruments offers :-) If time and budget permit, they are an excellent way to get up to speed fast. Check out www.ni.com/training. Regards, David Corney Customer Education Program Manger Quote Link to comment
