Counter, Auto Increment (Values > 255?)

I am using the Counter DAQmx Channel Property CO.AutoIncrCnt. Is there a way to use values greater than 255? My problem is, that i have only 1 counter left and i need a larger autoincrement than 255 Ticks per cycle!..... I know i can change the Timebasefrequency, but i need the full speed of the onboardclock.

Any ideas?
