TCP/IP-Connection between LabVIEW & VB.NET

Hi,

right now I'm trying to write an application where I send data between LabVIEW on the one hand and VB.NET on the other hand using the TCP/IP Protokoll.

I have a Client/Server Application running unter LabVIEW which is working fine and I also have a Client/Server Application running under VB.NET running with no problems but when I try to have a LabVIEW-Server and a VB.NET-Client ( or a LabVIEW-Client and a VB.NET-Server) I can't establish a connection.

I already tryed it on one machine with "localhost" and on two different machines with tcp/ip-address and portnumber.

Currently I'm using LabVIEW 8.5.

Has anybody an idea what the problem is or much better an example programm ?
