Keeping Track of Process/Killing Processes

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using the System Exec.vi to execute some external scripts. Is there anyway to keep track of the new processes that are being created? My goal is to time these processes so that if a process exceeds a certain time period it will be killed. Right now I'm using a VI Reference to a reentrant VI calling the System Exec.vi, which I am aborting when it exceeds the period, but the process that was created is not killed. Any ideas on how to do this?

Regards,

Mike C
