  1. It looks like a path to service the huge pipe on the bridge, some part of an electic power station? I believe that the storm can be very powerfull when you see the railings and the holes in the concrete. May be huge stone are falling from the mountain? Nice place for a story of Sherlock Holmes . Could be a delicious place in winter with fog , rain and thunder. QUOTE (martin@aerodynamics @ Jul 15 2008, 06:27 AM)

It is a very old idea back in the twenty a lot of car used fabric on wood frame. The fabric was molesquine ( mole skin? ) , a lot of car had fabric roof as the very first Traction Citroen (all steel no wood) . But the noise wad defeanning when this cars were at high speed . The idea is very pleasant . And the new technicals fabric are very nice. QUOTE (PaulG. @ Jun 12 2008, 09:56 PM)
  3. http://www.geocities.com/old_electric_cloc...ortt-178-kB.htm This beautiful animation show us an astrnomy clock with a master clock and a slave clock. The question is how does it work ? what is the purpose of the string on the slave pendulum. I believe that it is all about energy conservation and phase. I feel that the same idea could be used elsewere. Jason
  4. A small point of interest: You can import the file in Star Office but in France if you keep the default setting ; number are imported as text . The reason? the decimal point : in France 12,6 = 1*10^1+2*10^0+6*10^-1 = 12.6 in USA . So my Star Office (France) understand 12.6 as a text. After some time I find : you have only to change the importation setting the column is not "Standard" but US. After that everything fine. 5. Thank you for your remarks . I can't read French, but this looks like a good first attempt. There are some things that pop out at me: 1) The front panel is a little skewed. If you are going to have anything resizing with the panel, then you may want to have everything resize. I personally like to not have anything resize, and not show the scroll bars so that the FP is fixed...but that's a preference thing. I will try this . The front panel is green because when I was at school we had some very old scopes ( oscilloscopes ) with the front panel green . The BD is for the most part fairly clean. Good job! Even though I can't read the labels, I can understand the flow and logic behind the code. You may wish to take the main code and place it into a subVI, with your parameters as inputs and waveform/results as outputs. This will clean it up a bit more. Yes it is the next step. Are you sure on your math to get X in radians for the input of the Sine function? I'm seeing (Phase/(360*Freq))*(Freq*2pi) for the first iteration of the loop. It's early yet in Seattle, so I may just need a second cup of coffee before I understand what you're doing here... It is the phase adjustments 5) Alright, I need to know... what does this mean in English? It the choice between sine ( sinus ) function and square ( carré ) function 010101 My wife's name is very close to this: Carrie Sines... so I'm dying to know Best regards to your wife . I will translate the Vi in english .
  6. Some time ago somepeople was looking for a Low frequency generator. I am trying to learn LabView with good books and my computer , I draw this VI as an exercice. It run but I am sure that , it is not the best VI ever made. I am looking for your improuvements. Jason
  7. hi , I have made a bf generator it works but it is not super fine programmation. I can give you the code if you need it. Jason QUOTE (MBeckford @ Mar 31 2008, 11:15 AM)
