  1. Hi, I am wondering if there is a way of resetting a single board RIO using one the available I/Os? (I suspect not). The context would be a remotely located RIO board (that is: not accessible), that is programmed via a network link from another location. At times, a reset could be required, this is where having a separate system applying a short to a dedicated I/Os could be helpful. thx L.
  2. Hello there, Exactly the same problem trying to call dynamically a .m script from a LV exe in LV 2017 (so it is run in the MathScriptNode). It works using the IDE but not as an exe. Has there been any changes from NI on this? Thx. Note: guessing no, as the .m files are interpreted & compiled at build time since the interpreter is not included in the run-time engine...

    Embedded XP

On the same topic, I am planning to install an application acquiring data with NI-Scope (via USB) Can use either LV 8.5.1, 8.6, 2009 SP1 or 2010 SP1 for this a PanelPC (x86) running XP Embedded. As per NI site it seems that one needs to get the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module for this... My Panel PC is equipped with a x86 processor... I don't really see why one should buy the TP Module, which is said to support XPe... I have seen many posts where standard LabVIEW works fine. Can anyone comments on this please, and may have some insighs on running LV on XPe? Thx. Laurent.
