crelf
I despise the practice of coloring structures. You guys are hitting all my pet peeves, sheesh. You don't like that when you wire an error cluster into a case selector you get red on the error case and green on the no error case? I love that! Quote Link to comment
viSci
Actually it would have been nice if execution highlighting revealed the hidden code, but it did not do so in my case. Quote Link to comment
PJM_labview
I tried very hard to use Auto-Grow (I kept using it for over 2 years) and eventually I gave up. I eventually saw more draw backs in using it than advantages. So, I have to disagree too. PJM Quote Link to comment
jcarmody
I started my LabVIEW life hating Auto Grow; I don't know why or when, but I started using it again a while ago. Anyway, now I only hate it when I'm pasting or typing into a string control near the edge of a structure. I think the only thing I like it for is when I'm trying to clean up my BD - it keeps me honest when resizing. Quote Link to comment

I love that! I love that too! I just hate any other colors on any other structures. Quote Link to comment

Michael Aivaliotis
My thoughts exactly. How about create constant? Quote Link to comment
Daklu
How about create constant? Or create anything near the edge of the structure. Or when you change a typedef and all your typedef constants reset to 'align vertical' and your structure grows to fit? Quote Link to comment
PJM_labview
Can you elaborate? Do I really need to (see below)? I actually don't mind it too much in regular VI, but I do not like it at all in state machine. crelf
Do I really need to (see below)? Oh - OK - I thought you'd chimed in due to other reasons that hadn't already been mentioned. I'm the same as far as a state machine goes - I turn it off when I'm working on those. Quote Link to comment
