Antoine Chalons Posted July 31, 2009 Report Share Posted July 31, 2009 Hi all, I'm developing a small vision application based on NI's Smart Camera and VB AI. The number of integrated digital I/O is not enough for my needs so I've been looking for an Ethernet Digital I/O module and found the Acromag 989EN. It looks fine because it supports Modbud TCP/IP. I was wandering if anyone ever used this device or could suggest another one with similar features.. Thanks in advance for any info. Quote Link to comment

For communication they offer a dll (easy to use, the LabVIEW import wizard handles it cleanly), an ActiveX interface (not well designed), a .NET interface (haven't used it) and are also supposed to support Modbus/TCP.
