VIPM crapped out

I was trying to install the code capture package but VIPM cannot connect to Labview (please see attachment screen shot of error box)

I have verified all of my settings with VI Server and have no clue what happened, any ideas?

Ok, I got it to work. Very interesting, I had to put a "*" in the Exported VI's settings. :wacko::angry:

That's called security.

I think it's a good thing LabVIEW is closed upon standard install.

And th exported VIs is mentionend in the VIPM error message.

Yeah but it looks like they are saying to set it to localhost, not *.

Yes, localhost works as well.

Not on my machine it didnt. I had localhost, 127.0.0.1, and the actual IP address and none of them worked.

Sorry, I meant for Machine Access, you were talking about Exported VIs!
