mlporter_in_oh
I have been playing around with scripting in LV2010 and have been unsuccessful in doing something that should be rather easy. How to you wire to a tunnel on the edge of a case structure? I have called NI a couple times and have gotten no response, so I thought I'd try here... Thanks, Mike... Quote Link to comment
Black Pearl
Search for the 'Tunnel wireing wizard'. Felix Quote Link to comment
Yair
You can also see a couple of examples here - http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-12608 Quote Link to comment
SuperS_5
Hi, I agree with the above two super posters. However, as a quick ref: there is a invoke method "connect wire" that will do what you require. You will need the reference of the target tunnel, and the reference of where ever it will connect to. One way to get the tunnel reference, is by getting the reference of the parent structure, and using a property node. PS. Editing this post for the third time now. My laptop is not playing nice with my browser. Edited December 11, 2010 by SuperS_5 Quote Link to comment
mlporter_in_oh
I'm not sure what I am supposed to get from this tool since it is for use during development and the block diagram is locked so I can't even see what it does. Mike... Quote Link to comment
Black Pearl
VI-Scripting is always only in developement (edit mode) only. There is a non-locked version in the lava code repository (CR), the versions posted on NI forums were password protected when scripting wasn't public available. Felix Quote Link to comment
