LabVIEW PDA Vs LabVIEW Mobile Module

Hi friends,

I am asked to develop some applications for PDA devices. I would like to the difference between LabVIEW PDA toolkit and the LabVIEW mobile Module. I tried to install LabVIEW PDA on my laptop but I see there is only LabVIEW Mobile Module available in the disc( LabVIEW 2010).

Does that mean there is no more LabVIEW PDA and NI has added the features of LabVIEW PDA in the Mobile Module?

Please help..!!! I need to buy a license for that.

Hi Sharon,

As far as I know from version 9 there is only Mobile Module that was referred as PDA module before it.

Now as such there is no separate PDA module.

Just a note:

The LabVIEW Mobile Module only works with a Mobile device running Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 6.0, or Pocket PC 2003. as per LabVIEW 2010 Mobile Module Readme

I think the PDA module might have supported Palm OS but don't know for sure.

A quick google looks like you're correct, but it dates back to LV7.
