Color history not kept in LV2010?

Recommended Posts

I'm assuming the color history is kept in the INI file. Maybe you don't have write permissions to the LV folder? It should be fairly easy to check by changing a setting which is written to the INI file.

I've always had permissions in the past on older versions of LV. Plus I'm an administrator on this PC so I can't see why I wouldn't have permission.

I never noticed it kept that between runs! It works for me on 2010.

The INI tokens are colorHistoryItemA through colorHistoryItemK. Do you see those in your INI file / do they change when you pick colors and close LabVIEW? I think when you select a color, that color gets put in K and then everything from K to B shifts to J to A.
