I've got some trouble when I run an executable made with 7.1. After updating to LV 7.1.1, the 7.1 executable was not running any more.

:(

It was also impossible to install the LV run time engine 7.1 additionally to the run time engine 7.1.1. So I had to rebuild another executable with 7.1.1 in order to fix the problem.

But this is not good, because any launched application built with 7.1. may not be running any more, when updating to 7.1.1.

I did the full mass compile like the README said, but I got this in the log:

QUOTE (Wolfram @ Dec 2 2004, 08:21 PM)

Can you tell me abt this frustating problem.

1) I had a working system with LV 7.1 + DSC.

2) I tried to compile and make an installer.

3) The installer did not run. Some things required.I will do them next week.

4) When I come back and run the program again from labview development environment in a usual way, it doesnt run- incompatible labview runtime. Problem - runtime is now version 7.1.1 and not 7.1. The program will not work.

5) NOW- how did the runtime automatically got changed to 7.1.1 from 7.1?

6) However hard I try, this 7.1.1 runtime does not go. The labview installer CD simply shows a large green tick and says there is a higher version runtime installed and so it will not uninstall it. It will not even give you an uninstallation option for it.

7) I have trying all I could. Removed complete labview + DSC. This 7.1.1 runtime has stuck like a leech and doesnt go. My working DSC program has gone now. Only option I see is change the hard disk.

8) Tried MSIblast also. it does nto remove it.

ANY help there? I am greatly thankful.
