andgan
Hi, I'd like to bundle some signals (10 - 20) in a cluster so that i can connect them from one vi to another. my problem is that i want to bundle them by name to have it better documentated. So how can i give a name to a connection? if it comes directly from a control element, the signal has the name of the control; but what if i do any arithmetical operations and want to give the output a name? is that possible? As my english is not so good, and as i don't think it's 100% clear what i mean, i've made a little vi (should even work with LV 6.0) that may show my problem. hope anyone can help me! thanks a lot from germany, Andreas Download File:post-876-1108031611.vi Quote Link to comment
FLX
Hi The bundle by name function has in the input cluster terminal. If you connect the default cluster to it, you can select the correct names. Quote Link to comment
malef
Andreas, you can't name a wire, but you can name it in Bundle by Name Function. Manfred Quote Link to comment
andgan
Thank you for solving the problem! That's exactly what I want, and now in second trial (the first was on the german labviewforum.de) i got your point! I guess that will help me to come closer to my solution! Best wishes Andreas Quote Link to comment
