Wizbit
Hi all, Im new to this forum, but I've found lots of interesting and useful info so far - so thanks all! I have a question though. I need to programatically find the serial number of a hard drive using labview. I think I need to call the kernel32.dll, but im not sure if that would work, or what the query should be. If anyone can shed some light on this problem it would be great. Thanks! dhuff
And, if you feel like changing that serial number, you can do that too! Check out the VolumeID utility from sysinternals <http://www.sysinternals.com/files/volid.zip> You could even call it via Command Line from Labview! Quote Link to comment
