Mike Le 21 Report post Posted February 5, 2015 I've attached a VI that illustrates some weird behavior with an Advanced TDMS Write node. I have a work-around but figured it was bizarre enough to share with the group. Basically, trying to input a 1D double array from a "Split 1D Array" node causes a broken arrow in some situations. hooovahh 656 Report post Posted February 5, 2015 I'm pretty sure this was reported on the NI forums and the easy fix was the LabVIEW band-aid the always copy. I tried in 2014 and it also is broken.
Mike Le 21 Report post Posted February 5, 2015 I was converting to Extended Precision and then back to Double, but "Always Copy" is probably the better fix. Thanks!
hooovahh 656 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I've given this VI to NI to see if they can figure out why it behaves the way it does, and possibly so the next version of LabVIEW has this issue fixed. I'll update this with the CAR if I get one.
