Reading Outlook .msg Files

Hi all!

I have a bunch of outlook message files (.msg) and I would like to open them, get the unformatted text content and open the attached file.
I think it should be a fairly easy task but I haven't found relevant answers on the internet yet. I found ways to interface with outlook, but those are overkill for such a task and I haven't looked into them yet.
