Well actually there is the "FIND VI PASSWORD" routine on this page as well, but each use the "Set Lock State" method to test the trial passwords and that has been "fixed" to twart brute-force search routines. I strongly suspect NI has hidden a time delay in the code that does the unlock because the one time I tried to use it, it would only test about 10 words a second (if I'm remembering the number correctly). It would be a reasonable way to frustrate brute-force routines. If you don't already have a good idea of the word used, you might as well not even try. Quote Link to comment
