TG
WHat UML tools are used by you LV fanatics here I been looking around for something free that would be enough for my needs ( which isn't really too much.) but most of the web pages are cluttered with all kinds of ads etc.. Question is what is a good gen purpose tool for a newbie to UML Say less than 100 bucks? I'll take free too if its available. Thanks guys Quote Link to comment
crelf
I'm not sure about prices, but check out Endevo's UML Modeller (it's written purely in LabVIEW - Yes, that's right, LabVIEW! Written by LAVA member Mikael Holmstrom) There's a demonstration video here that's well worth watching. Quote Link to comment
Mike Ashe
Take a look at ArgoUML at: http://argouml.tigris.org/ The host site, Tigris, has a lot of other great open source development tools as well. You also should look at Eclipse: http://www.eclipse.org/emf/ Which is Eclipse's "Eclipse Modeling Framework", lots of UML here. All free and tons of development person-years. Salud, PS: Chris, how can you not know what it costs? Quote from Endevo's purchase page: "In the US, Canada and Mexico our products are sold by VI Engineering. " Quote Link to comment
Jim Kring
I've had a lot of success using Enterprise Architect from Sparx Systems. Quote Link to comment
Adnan
I like Poseidon. There is a community edition, which is enough for most of needs. Quote Link to comment
