Gary Rubin
Does anyone know if it is possible in LV7.1 to rotate a string indicator to make it vertical, like the Y-axis labels on graphs/plots? I'm interested in modifying the cursor palette so that it's a long vertical strip, rather than a long horizontal strip. I can go in and customize the cluster so it is stacked vertically, but the width is still defined by the length of the text indicators. Thanks, Gary Quote Link to comment
george seifert
I'm pretty sure you can't. I think they did add that in 8.2 though. Quote Link to comment
JDave
You can draw text in a picture as stacked, clockwise, or counter-clockwise. So if you could use picture controls instead... Not sure what you mean by the cursor palette. Quote Link to comment
Gary Rubin
Not sure what you mean by the cursor palette. Sorry, I meant the Cursor Legend, where you can manipulate graph cursors. EDIT: It's called a Cursor Palette in the property nodes. Quote Link to comment
Ton Plomp
Christian Altenbach has offered part of the solution: link I've modified this a bit. Download File:post-2399-1156958417.vi Ton It even can be generalized if i've only got the time.... Quote Link to comment

That would work in general for a text string, but I think replacing the text string in the Cursor Legend with a picture containing text is well beyond me. Quote Link to comment
